1. Choose the Right Box
Always use new, sturdy, double-walled corrugated cardboard boxes for heavy or fragile items. Reused boxes lose their structural integrity and are highly susceptible to crushing. Ensure the box is large enough to accommodate your item with at least 2 inches of cushioning on all sides.
2. Internal Cushioning is Mandatory
Your item should not touch the walls of the box. Use generous amounts of bubble wrap, foam inserts, or biodegradable packing peanuts to fill all void spaces. Shake the box gently—if you hear or feel movement inside, add more cushioning.
3. Special Care for Liquids and Powders
If shipping liquids, they must be in leak-proof containers and sealed inside a waterproof plastic bag. Powders should be similarly sealed in sift-proof bags. Place these items upright inside the box.
4. Sealing the Package
Do not use masking tape, scotch tape, or string. Use strong, pressure-sensitive packing tape (at least 2 inches wide). Apply the 'H-tape' method: seal the center seam securely, and then seal the two edge seams on both the top and bottom of the box.

Remove all old labels from the box. Print your FlyStar shipping label clearly and affix it to the largest, flat surface of the box. Do not place tape over the barcode, as this can interfere with our scanning equipment.
